The 46th Session of the World Heritage Committee is going to be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from July 21, 2024 to July 31, 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the session on the 21st of this month.
India is hosting this event for the first time.
UNESCO has advised to all delegates that to attend the 46th session in New Delhi, India. The UNESCO further writes on its website, “People have to register (Step 1) as soon as possible using the registration code provided in the invitation letter addressed on 22 May last, either to the Permanent Delegation, National Commission or your organization. Participants are also encouraged to submit all their details requested during Step 2 on the Host Country website as soon as possible. This will allow the session organizers sufficient time to process the information and make the necessary arrangements (for further information, see Sections 5.2 and 8 of Document WHC/24/46.COM/INF.1 as well as https://46whcnewdelhi2024.nic.in/home#registration).
