नई दिल्ली: केंद्रीय कैबिनेट समिति ने NH-22 के मुजफ्फरपुर–सीतामढ़ी–सोनबरसा सेक्शन को 4-लेन हाईवे में अपग्रेड करने की मंजूरी दे दी है।
NHAI ने रविवार को अपने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म ‘X’ पर जानकारी देते हुए कहा, “उत्तर बिहार और उससे आगे कनेक्टिविटी को मजबूती! आर्थिक मामलों की कैबिनेट समिति ने NH-22 के मुजफ्फरपुर–सीतामढ़ी–सोनबरसा सेक्शन को 4-लेन हाईवे में अपग्रेड करने की मंजूरी दे दी है।”
NHAI ने आगे कहा, “यह प्रोजेक्ट मुजफ्फरपुर और सोनबरसा स्थित भारत-नेपाल सीमा के बीच कनेक्टिविटी को बेहतर बनाएगा, साथ ही NH-27 सहित प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग कॉरिडोर के साथ निर्बाध संपर्क प्रदान करेगा। यह अपग्रेड कॉरिडोर महत्वपूर्ण आर्थिक, सामाजिक और लॉजिस्टिक्स हब तक पहुंच में सुधार करेगा, यात्रियों व माल की तेज़ आवाजाही को सुगम बनाएगा और पूरे उत्तर बिहार में क्षेत्रीय विकास को गति देगा।”
